Sorcerer’s magic levels fluctuate due to heavy or prolonged usage and they can drain themselves and such which makes them sick. They can increase their magic levels by physical contact. Cuddling is good but skin contact better. Just holding hands can help their magic levels go back up. But other, bedroom, activities can cause them to overcharge which causes them to get high off their own magic. The reason there were so many rumors about witch covens having org*es and such is because being high off their own magic and therefor not having the best control over it can make them vulnerable and so two sorcerers having sex would have a trusted third person around to watch out for them. Conversely, going at it with a non-magic individual would obviously both expose them and make them very vulnerable to their chosen partner. Most sorcerers have a chaperone as a rule.
