I decided to go out of my comfort zone in a few ways: a different interpretation of Golden Boy Gavin and poetry. @fahchaus‘s amazing piece totally inspired the idea, but I decided to make Gav...a little more vicious.
I love a boy who is split into four.
I hold his shattered pieces in my hand.
Each broken sliver cuts me to the core,
And his sharp smile will sear me like a brand.
The Golden Boy will hide behind his wit—
A charming mask behind a golden gun.
The Rose Gold Boy is equally sunlit;
As carefree as the moon around the sun.
Black Golden Boy is filled with lust and fire,
With focused eyes that speak of untold dread.
White Golden Boy is sweetness and desire,
But those rosy lips glow with things unsaid.
I love this boy who has a certain shine,
It is a shame he will never be mine.
