Bourbon, Scotch, Jack Daniels, and an assortment of many others coincide along one wooden shelf tucked away in their liquor cabinet, each seem to have been recently delved into. The amber colored liquid mocks her where she stands, this addiction, the need for a quick release, an escape from reality and all of it’s responsibilities and misfortunes, it causes for hate to bind within; desperately wishing to smash every decanter onto the floor. 

The world weighs heavy upon one’s shoulders and sanctuary comes in the form of an intoxicating constituent offering mind numbing relief; he caves in without hesitation, without seeking comfort in her presence. Inside of those particular bottles, it’s contents have dwindled significantly, day after day, weeks, months, years, she can’t recall the amount of strong beverages she’s had to restock. More often than not, Pepper will try her luck at suggesting a healthier solution. Meditation, exercise, vacationing ( with restriction ) and much to his dismay, counseling, but neither are appealing enough for the stubborn billionaire to consider before rejecting altogether. Of course this behavior frustrates her, at times she would gladly stand back and want to pull her hair out, grab him by the shoulders, make him listen, anything to derail Tony from the lifestyle in which has consumed him whole and she can’t witness the repercussions any longer. 

Nonetheless, as much as his need for alcohol ensues, she loves him still. Pepper is aware this habit is not without reason, and it absolutely kills her of everything Tony has endured, most would have gone mad within a day if having suffered the same, but to what cost will he be willing to give, in order to continue down this path? She doesn’t dare imagine it. There are alternatives and she refuses to sit idly by while he proceeds to submerge himself in self destructive tendencies. 

Her entry into his lair, or the man cave as she so humorously calls it, is a graceful stride forward, heels light on each footstep, seemingly innocent, however, the words to follow are not. “Tony, I think we should have a talk,” blue irises flicker between his frame and nowhere in particular. “I’ve noticed the liquor is running low again, it appears to be a frequent reoccurrence and I don’t mean over the course of a few weeks, as normal individuals who drink on occasion do. This is a weekly instance at best.“ fingertips reach toward his hand in console, "I’m worried about you, I need you to talk to me, I can’t help if I don’t know what is going on.”

     [ :) same he’s my favorite original Avenger (sorry Thor) and I’ve loved him for years but if you want my opinion, they’re definitely not tossing out Tony any time soon. If everything post Avengers 4 will be all-new we have the possibility of Ironheart AKA Riri Williams being a thing so naturally they’d want to keep him around to become her mentor or something. Or maybe I’ll be completely wrong and in Tony’s absence she’ll step up and realize the world still needs Ironman so she takes his mantle and continues his legacy? I’m hoping against hope that no one dies and they defeat Thanos but they’re just so done they hang up their capes and weapons and leave the fighting to the new generation. We all know that won’t happen, they’re heroes. Heroes don’t just give up. Especially Thor so Thanos is going to have to kill him.

     We still have five more movies, four after the upcoming Black Panther movie, left of T’Challa so he’s going to survive miraculously. Thor Ragnarok was definitely the last Thor movie (bitter sweet about that) and we still don’t know how many films Tom was signed on for or if they’ve renewed so maybe eventually if they get the perfect theme for a solo Loki movie we’ll get one but Black Widow was tentatively hinted at that she’s going to die when Scarlett said the new generation was coming and that it was bitter sweet. So we can be damn sure that Hawkeye is going down with her.

     Captain America, Steve Rogers, Evans long ago let the world know that he was getting tired of the constant press tours and just wanted to take a break so Avengers 4 will be his last. He’ll probably die, Falcon will live to take up his mantle, and then later Bucky Barnes will take it up. Vision, I’m praying can survive without the stone to give him a chance at a life he wanted with Wanda, or better yet, Ebony Maw tries and fails to extract it (because why wouldn’t Vision blast him in that scene?? perfect angle and shot??) or at least is revived at the end of the fighting when they get the stones back.]
