@irrealised asked: "You." Words are curt / uttered between the bite of his teeth to his lips as he stares, judging, nose upturned but eyes fixed 'pon the crown of her head; as he flexes his fingers, the magitek clinging to the bare bones of his flesh clinks, the sword at his waist shifted to be held tight. "Here to petition me to turncoat yet again? I care not for whatever your false king will do — lest you forget it was his bloodline that let our homes burn." // from ravus : )
a sigh contained, though her lips twist as if tasting a sour citrus while trying to keep the rest of her body language open. there’s a reason for this meeting and she’s not going to turn away with nothing-- at least not some sort of conversation. “ yes, me. ” red gaze turns to his shifting with the sword at his side before back toward his own-- she knows better than to egg him on at least. the earth could reap & sow her blood if it would push them closer to a world they’ve always hoped for-- but she’s tired of USELESS violence that begets violence that begets violence.
“ you’re right, i’m here to speak with you because it seems like no one knows how to do that these days ” not that she exactly blames them-- an offer of peace & communication lead to the death of a FATHER & KING. still, it was never in her nature to give up on finding alternatives to resolve the chaos. “ i’m not here to talk about noctis. he was a child. WE ALL WERE CHILDREN. if you’re still upset with the late king-- i don’t know what to tell you. he’s dead. i understand your anger for him, --this WAR took everything from us... but you still have SOMEONE. i don’t know how you can keep on this path despite that. ”
MAYBE IT WASN’T HER PLACE-- it never had been. and yet, it was true. she had lost everything because of powers beyond her control. still, she wasn’t the one to touch upon their loss in the first place, if he though she’d take the dirt thrown in her eyes as a SAINT would-- ravus nox fleuet would be another among many who underestimated her because of her soft voice.
