Comets

If I understand my physics correctly All items No matter how big Or small Are always being pulled towards each other It varies through their size and distance apart But they are always moving towards each other Yesterday I saw In a sudden flash of vision restored Two comets, bright as stars They flew through the night Towards each other, but not quite And when they passed each other They pulled one another And they turned Now there are two comets Bright as stars Going somewhere else Somewhere they weren't going And I realized, through my sleepless haze That once, in another time I've seen this happen in people
