Lorre's Cat Café: Fritz
This elegant raven of a feline seems relieved to finally be out of the dysfunctional house he came from.
Fritz is actually a peripheral artifact of a very disturbing local scandal that most people in the town try hard to forget about. A local coffee house musician, who was in his mid-40s, had an affair with his wife's very underage cousin, who then died from an unrelated drug overdose on Halloween while wearing her Powerpuff Girl cosplay. The musician is now in prison; and his wife is currently on trial for failing to report the statutory affair, instead opting to post jealous rants against her cousin on social media (which is how law enforcement was alerted to the situation).
As the train wreck played out on the local news, viewers were quick to point out how beautiful the un-beautiful family's pet cat was. Seen in footage and photos, the elegant cat often seemed nervous around his volatile humans. With all of his previous owners now behind bars or under the ground, locals of all ages crowd-funded an effort to have him adopted out before going to the pound. Our cat café became his new home.
Fritz is a very quiet and laid back boy. His favorite places to chill are in the garden or on the piano, or in somebody's lap.
