Can I be like…brass tacks honest about writing stuffs??

This may make me a crap person, but I’m awful with asks. And part of it is selfish. I rarely have motivation to sit and write and when I do, I’m usually in mind escape mode. So the person I’m imagining….is me.

All my blurbs and stories are always X reader, but the story lines and everything else are always something I’ve wanted to write. An idea I’ve had. The man or woman I want.

A huge part of this is ESCAPE. I maladaptive daydream like a SOB as a coping mechanism….so all these ideas center around…me. Escaping.

I don’t get motivated as much to write other characters or ideas I’m not connected to…because, selfishly speaking? There’s less escape in it for me.

If I can’t imagine myself in that moment, Im gonna have a hard time finding the motivation to create it.

Am I the only one? Am I just like… a douchey gatekeeper?
