Retroactive Shifting will make your life easier

What do I mean by retroactive shifting? Its you thinking about the past and realising that you actually shifted then.

An example of this is waking up in the morning and saying, "Woah, I was definitely in my DR last night." Because it doesn't actually matter if you felt that you were there or not. You can't prove to yourself or anyone else that you shifted but you also can't prove that you didn't. There's no way to know where your awareness went while you were asleep. So why not assume it went to the reality you've been thinking about all day? Thats the most logical place it would be in, wouldn't it?

People shift even without feeling a single thing. Why should you be any different? Besides, feelings and sensations don't tell you where you are, you do. You know where you sleep, so know that you were sleeping in your DR.

This mindset preps you for actually believing and expecting that you can wake up in your DR without even trying to because yes, you were asleep there the whole night so its only natural to wake up there, duh.

Right before fully shifting, I had primed my brain so that whenever I felt even a little bit different when I woke up, it 100% meant that I had shifted in my sleep/slept in my DR. Over time, my brain went along with it and I began to expect to wake up somewhere different or to have shifted in my sleep which led to me waking up in my WR.

The same goes for having vivid dreams or feeling symptoms during attempts.

Realising that you felt shifting symptoms because you shifted. Not because you were trying but because you were actually there.

Past attempts where you felt something? That was a shift. You never had that kind of experience before finding out about shifting. Why are you disregarding it just because its not a full shift?

I know symptoms are just your body falling asleep but sometimes I get weird ones that never happen when I am not trying to shift so instead of treating them as a sign that I am currently shifting, I think of it as me already having shifted. Because I won't feel that way if I hadn't.

Having a vivid dream about your DR? "Its because I was sleeping in my DR without even knowing it. So I dreamed about it while I was there."

When the goal is to experience (even if its the tiniest things) then everything becomes a win.

since today, tomorrow for some of others, is pride month I wish all of you a happy pride month!!!

for those who are unaware : i am non binary and bisexual. though i write most posts in third person and using she/her pronouns, that does not change the fact i use they/them pronouns. to those being aware of my pronouns but still choosing to misgender me: i kindly tell you to go fuck yourself. i am a proud to be non binary. and even though I may primarily post about my male s/o’s, does not mean that i love rohanne, jocelyn, medea any less.

as a queer person, i am happy to have been welcomed so openly by the shifting community. it felt like a warm, toasty, hug. i am glad that queer shifters are able to express their love for their significant others without the fear of judgement. i think love is a wonderful thing, it comes in all forms and it is beautiful. i am glad that trans shifters are accepted with open arms by the community. i am happy knowing that there are realities out there where we can live without discrimination — without being mistreated for our pronouns or who we love. love is love — it’s beautiful and amazing.

i am glad to be a big blog , who is part of the lgbtq+ community. i am glad to represent a part of the community through easyboyrecliner.

my fav irrational shifting tips

1. type out an entire storytime as if you just shifted

seriously, go into detail about your time there. what did you do, who did u see, as if you were JUST there. like ur about to send this storytime to ur friends. i swear everytime i do this i feel SO capable because i'm speaking about it as an actual experience, not something i'm constantly longing for/out of my reach.

2. act like you've already shifted various times

counter your doubts with it. eg "what if i don't shift tonight?" "ive already shifted before.. what's stopping me now?"

3. be so fucking delusional (this one is important)

as an avid manifestor/loa follower, being delusional is THE way to getting what you want. believe you are a master shifter. believe you are already in your dr. believe you control your reality. believe whatever the fuck you want and say fuck you to the logic that tries to debunk it. your brain doesn't know shit and will believe whatever you tell it, and soon the 3d will follow. and if you have a hard time believing at first(as we all do), fake it till you make it. pretend and persist, it never fails.

as always, take everything i say with a grain of salt. your shifting journey is personal to you and only you.
