Could you write a small fluffy story about Link and Sidon comforting their s/o (polyamorous relationship) because she was told she wasn't good enough for them? Thank you!
@ myself emphasis on small
Not good enough.
It ran through her mind on a loop. A record on play forever, different hands restarting it each end.
Covering her ears, she tried to block out the thought of one of her lovers being the one to reset it. Dare she even think of both doing it.
Not good enough.
Not good enough for Sidon’s bright smile, not good enough for Link’s amazing cooking, not good enough for the late nights spent under the stars with them… She wasn’t good enough for any of it.
Her vision blurred as she reached the door to their house, hands shaking as she reached for the knob… But she was pulled inside by someone else opening the door.
“Sunshine!” Sidon’s voice rang joyfully in her ears. She wondered if it was false.
“Sidon...!” She looked up at him, letting a smile settle on her lips, yet it quickly faltered the moment Sidon turned away.
“Link!! (Name) has returned home!!”
Immediately, a head of blonde locks peeked out from behind a wall, a smile forming on the Hylian’s lips on sight of her. The strong scent of Goron curry wafted throughout the house.
“Ah, you should sit down, sunshine!” Sidon smiled again at her, gently grasping her shoulders and guiding her to the couch, Link disappearing behind the wall again.
“Actually, Sidon, Link... I don’t think I should.. stay,” her voice was small and weak, but it rang true through the household, “I don’t deserve this...”
“What?” Sidon frowned and tightened his grip, though only slightly, “Whatever gave you that idea?”
“Well, I’m just... not good enough.”
Silence. One second, two seconds, three... her body shook under the overwhelming pressure of it. They were right--she wasn’t good enough, and...!
A clink on the counter. Link walked in the room with a frown on his face, making his way over to his lovers before tapping her left hand with his finger and shaking his head.
“But--” how is that wrong? She wanted to ask, but Link wrapped his arms around her waist and nuzzled into her shoulder, breathing in and sighing contentedly. They rose into the air--courtesy of Sidon joining the hug.
“Now, wherever you heard such things, (Name), I assure you they are entirely untrue.” Sidon began, in a stern tone, “You are most certainly good enough for us--no, absolutely amazing!!”
Sidon finally sat down on the couch, Link humming and shifting so he laid his head on her lap, his hand reaching up to mess with her hair.
“Link, Sidon... What about the curry?” She asked, melting into Sidon despite herself.
“Dinner can wait, (Name).” Sidon lightly scolded her, turning her head towards him, “Our first priority is you right now.”
Sidon softly kissed her forehead before Link joined on her cheek, laughing softly at the gasp that escaped her.
“Rest assured, you are more than enough for us.”
