Meowdy for Jongler juesday :3
Maybe I'm being salty, but I know I'm not the only one who is just more than a bit fed up with this ridiculous culture on here of demanding constant content from writers and then not reblogging or commenting on works.
I get at least 5 asks daily not-so-politely asking for me to post more stories, my smut specifically, and when I say I'm on a break I just get more asks. But when I do post those fics, there's zero interaction. Yes, I get my loyal 4-5 commenters, and I'm eternally grateful and in love with them, but the rude anons who demand my stories are not the ones commenting on them.
I'm all for anonymous asks telling me you liked my story, a line, anything. In fact, I'd adore them forever. I'm not down with rude asks demanding more content with nothing else attached.
If you want creators and writers to keep posting, and posting enthusiastically please comment and reblog so those works reach more people. That engagement is, whether you believe so or not, critical to keeping up the excitement of writing one's story. I do write for me, and I post for free, but I also want to know I'm not the only one enjoying these little works I'm concocting in my free time for no money.
I'm a professional writer, and I know what it's like to write just to get paid. Fanfic isn't for that, it's for the engagement with a community just as interested in the source material as you are, and without that engagement, the love and interest wanes and insecurity sets in, which leads to less content.
I know I'm sounding like an angry lunatic, and it's not my intention, but to counteract the rude anons I'll always get as a writer, the kind enthusiasm for my chapters is what's going to keep me writing these stories. Support your writers and content creators, and I promise you'll get more valuable stories you'll want to read again, and share their work! It ensures that the writer gets the support they need and the expansion of their audience.
It may not seem like much to others, but... it really is valuable. Your input, excitement, reactions, they mean more to us than you know.
I can't believe I actually feel bad for Reginald Hargreeves in season 3.... wtf man
I made rice on the stovetop for the first time instead of in a rice cooker last night and like
goddamn!
I wish I’d known making rice on the stovetop was literally as easy as putting rice and water in the pot!

Again. Very Mature Now.
But it's so funny when the Big Gods fight. Like you could end the world and instead you just fight about Who Lives and Who Dies and whose stories get told over others.
It's so weird, but I'm definitely not complaining.lol. I guess it's just more chaos to feed on anyway.
I've never really thought about how I could use my chaos and stuff to help people, really. I guess I should start doing that, you know? I mean, watching the Big Gods have petty fights that hurt people really makes you think.
it almost took me the whole of January and also some googling in the end, but I FINALLY managed to completely solve my Rubik's cube for the first time :D xD
