The other day I was wondering idly about high speed chases where you have the one guy running away followed by like... at least twelve police cars. It's kind of a comic image to me because I get wanting more than one car chasing the guy running away, but how do you know when enough is enough? What’s the rationale?
So I asked a cop I know about it and he got really defensive and told me it's none of my business and started on about 2020 and every move being micromanaged and body cameras and whatnot
