It’s a noir-detective story, but set about 800 years in the future, in which Greatest Britain rules the Discovered Universe and robots can’t find work. Oh and it’s HILARIOUS. Rivals Douglas Adams. The hard-drinking protagonist has complicated feelings for his robot roommate and work partner, and they’re fucking about it.
I NEED there to be a third book, which means more people need to read these! Please!
Thought about isaac steele again for the first time in a while and. JESUS. basically a couple months back the author turned out to be involved in the new hp series so obviously fuck that guy and really i consider it lucky that i got a concrete reason to drop the series when i did because as i believe i stressed before it is in many ways not even good. However. that goddamn gay robot is going to stay with me forever i think
honestly i kind of hope the third isaac steele book ends up having yet another entirely different and equally questionable reason as to why robotfucking is illegal. i think that would be funny

if the isaac steele series had been published in several dozen parts as an audio drama daniel rigby could have had perhaps a few hundred terminally online freaks eating out of the palm of his fucking hand indefinitely but nooo it just had to be an audible original with roughly five posts about it on this entire website
