Presentato con successo a #Venezia76 e in lizza per il #QueenLionAward #LinguaFranca di #IsabelSandoval racconta il calvario di una donna filippina che inizialmente lavora come badante per un'anziana donna russa. Successivamente perso l'impiego la giovane inizia a cercare un altro modo per ottenere i documentari necessari per restare negli States. Una prospettiva di riscatto si intravede nel suo coinvolgimento emotivo con il nipote dell'anziana donna di cui si prendeva cura. Questi però non appena scopre che in realtà la giovane è una transgender cambia atteggiamento mostrandole cosa può succedere quando qualcuno prova a forzare i limiti del machismo.
