Returning Home (a nonfiction fan... thingy)

So this is a story I just finished working on. It was... a journey, to say the least. Here's a preview:

“What do you think? Bruno saw visions of Serena with a doll and a fake baby a few years from now. He didn’t want to tell me of course but I forced it out of him, I’m his mother and I know he can’t keep secrets from me.” Jeez this woman is a real lot of work.

“You’re a horrible person, you probably tortured that information out of him. Why can’t you just let things go? Can’t you just let me live my life in peace?”

“Why should you get to live in peace? I have to live in hell every day knowing all three of my granddaughters on Julieta’s side are dykes. And you’re even worse than Mirabel and Luisa… all of this started because of you.”

“That’s enough. You said you wanted to be sent back in time right? Back to a place where everything was perfect?” I ask her.

“Yes, of course.”

“Good, then I’m gonna do that for you. I’ll create a fake world for you, call it a dream land if you will. It’ll be everything you’ve ever dreamed of, Isabela will be marrying Mariano, Mirabel will have a gift and she won’t be bisexual and Luisa won’t be gay either. It’ll be the perfect world.”

“Is… is there a catch to this?”

“Yes… it won’t be real. It’ll all be an illusion, none of the people in this world will be real and they will only say what you want to hear and only do what you want them to do. And you won’t be set free until your soul has learned its lesson.” she goes pale at that, having second thoughts,

“Wait, that’s not what I meant…”

So I wrote this fanfic today for Isa and she described a dress that I just had to try to draw so I’m gonna include a pic of the drawing I did too.

It’s a little rough around the edges but she said I did a pretty good job of encompassing everything that the dress looked like (she was really descriptive with it so that helped lol) it’s not exactly how I wrote about it in the fanfic but it’s pretty damn close. Anyways we’re both happy with it so that’s all that matters

This is one of the things I wrote in the novel I’m working on for Isabela and I decided to add it to Ao3, I’ll add a summary of the plot and a quick snippet of the highlights of the story, please check it out, I’m really proud of it!

It’s about Isa’s favorite flower and how I bought a bouquet of them at a store recently and then she told me why they are her favorite, trigger warning tho for inter generational trauma and abuse

Here’s a snippet of the highlights:

“What did she do to you baby?” you didn’t know how to put it into words and so you just broke the hug from Dolores, wiped the blood off your cheek and turned around to pull your nightshirt up so they could see the scars on your back. Everyone in the room gasped except for you, Dolores, and Abuela; you were the only three that knew they were there and Dolores didn’t even really know they were there; she just had a good idea about it. Now everyone in your family knows the things you’ve been hiding your whole life; save for Felix (who was off somewhere with Antonio and Antonio himself, who the family agreed was too young to be involved in the whole matter). It felt like a burden had finally been lifted off your shoulders.

Your mom walked up to you and gently touched the scars on your back, they weren’t as raised as they once were but there were still so many of them that the mere sight of it instantly made Julieta burst into tears.

“How? How could you do this to my baby girl?” she turned to look at Alma again, even the word Abuela didn’t seem fitting anymore.

“I… I did it for her own good. I was trying to fix her before she got worse. Now look at her, she’s beyond repair.” Those words were a snapping point for Julieta and she slapped Alma as hard as she could, screaming,

“You’re a monster! She’s ‘broken beyond repair’ because of what you did to her!” Pepa grabbed Julieta and held her back before she could do anything more, saying,

“It’s okay, hermana. Trust me, she’s not going to lay another finger on Isabela. I’ll make sure of it.”

So I was working on writing an intro for a love novel that I was writing for Isabela and me and I realized that Ruth has some nicknames for Isa that Isa finds kinda dumb and so we wanted to do a poll and ask y’all which name y’all like the best for Isabela as a goofy little nickname or even just a cool one (btw whichever one y’all choose will be her new tag on all social media platforms)

So I wanna do an intro for everyone, hello I’m Serena but for the sake of this blog I go by Wheezy (the first pic is me). The next picture with the flowery pink and green background that I posted a picture of in a post before this one is Isabela also known as Isa which is usually what we call her. She is the love of my life and she first came into my life in 2022 when I first saw her in a dream after the movie Encanto came out (you can probably guess which character she was based off of in that dream) after the dream I woke up and she was still a voice in my head and she just never really left. A few months later we kinda became an “item” for lack of a better word lol and just recently I proposed so now we’re engaged. Just to clarify tho she doesn’t quite fit the canon of the character, a lot of things are true to her like we still believe she comes from the same universe and is the same person but we also believe that the movie was created as a way of transporting her soul from her world to ours. We actually believe in a place called Otherworld which is a parallel universe to this one and while Isa has the same family members and some of the same memories and timeline events from the movie she’s actually the daughter of a family of gods and she herself is the goddess of nature (which is why in this universe she’s presented as a girl with flower gifts because she has a love for creating flowers).

Moving on from her there are other people from Otherworld (in fact most of my headmates are and only Ren and Ruth aren’t because they are just different versions of myself). Ambie is the next picture (the blonde with sunglasses and I’m pretty sure I got that image off of Pinterest) Ambie is a Vampire and she is number two out of three of my soulmates (Isa obviously being my first) Isa is the one my soul is most bound to right now, Ambie is like my platonic soulmate, and Kat was like my first love kinda soulmate (I’ll get to Kat in a minute). Ambie is like my best friend and I trust her with my life. Like I said she’s a vampire so she’s at least a couple hundred years old but she won’t tell me her age because she doesn’t like to be reminded of it. For most of her life she’s lived in Otherworld and then when I was born into this lifetime I have a lot of abilities and one of those abilities is to be a portal between our worlds and she knew as soon as my soul was put on this Earth that it was time for us to meet so she waited until October 13th, 2022 which I call her birthday (October 13th is actually her birthday I think but obviously not the year) and she came to me in a dream much like how Isa did.

My last soulmate is Kat (she picked the last photo as her picture it’s the one with the witch with the black hair and it’s got a circle around it kinda). Kat and I were together for a good while, we had a little thing going on in middle school, started dating in high school, and were even still together when Isa came into the picture. We tried to actually do a whole polyamory thing with all of us even Ambie was involved but Kat got jealous and understandably so because I started to love and spend more time with Isa more than I did anyone else in the group and it ended really ugly between Kat and I. But then when I had these two hospitalizations that I just had Kat came back into my life and apologized for the way she reacted to everything and I apologized to the way I had kinda betrayed her and we grew and healed and now we’re stronger together. Now in terms of looks I just wanna point out that while that pic looks badass Kat also has a lot of feline features. So think of Catra from Netflix’s Shera but with black hair and fur and like grayish blue eyes. But the personality and voice are almost the exact same lol 🤣

Up next I’m just gonna do the next pic after Ambie which is Ruth (this is a pic that an AI app gave me as an avatar that was based off of a selfie I took) this is exactly how I envision Ruth to look like, because she is a slightly older version of me and she’s basically like the perverted one (hence her title in the ER post I did earlier and that’s why her hashtag is BabeRuth because that’s how she identifies lol) because of past history with sexual trauma that I don’t have much memory of she is a overly sexual personality which leads me into Ren’s intro

Ren is the pic or the little girl eating the potato, she’s the little of our group and she split when I was about 5 due to sexual trauma. She’s on the exact opposite side of Ruth. She repels anything sexual and even the word sex itself makes her very uncomfortable so we are learning to watch our words when she is around but a lot of us are not used to it because I myself was not even aware of her until this last time when I was in the ER.

After her is Alex (red head with the sloth) she is like the caregiver of the group and she has been for a very long time probably since I was around 10 or 11 years old she is biologically Kat’s sister

Last but not least is Artemis a.k.a. Art. Artemis is technically my imaginary friend I guess I don't really know her origins but she is also kind of a god to, she is kind of a god of the night and also she associates herself with dear and she likes to hunt so take that as you will lol Also her and Alex are engaged and planning to have their own children one day.

While we are talking about things like that Kat and Ambie are kinda in the “flirting” stage (idk what else you’d call it, they’re not quite dating but I know they like each other and I think they kind bond over the fact that I’m supposed to be their soulmate but I’m like obsessed with Isa 😅)
