Panic! at the disco Always- There something sweet about Brendon singing this to Spencer on his birthday, and dedicating it him. Yes I know he also once dedicated it to Sarah the fans. But this is a constant them for the boys, like in the “Overture” where Spencer says it “it always has been.” I talk more about it herePanic! at the disco The is gospel- DUH :) There are a lot theories about this,Brendon continuously says how this is about Spencer and his addiction. I talk about it here and here Also with Brendon doing that big speech every night of the panic!/Weezer tour I mean… :) Then Spencer comes and surprises him, and the look on Bren’s face 😬😁🤗😢😫Panic! at the disco This is gospel acoustic I thought it was important to mention this version, because IT’S BEAUTIFUL AS FUCK, and I like thinking that when Brendon first played the song for Spencer he did it on piano. It was tough love….Tenacious D Fuck her gently- Every time I hear Panic!’s cover of this song, my inner thoughts scream “Spencer can do that for you Brendon!” Lol I just know that Spencer would be the most loving, and understanding person when it comes to first time sex. Of course I can see them exploring their sexuality and doing rougher and more fun things. But Spence would want to make sure Bren is 100% ok, and comfortable. Waterparks Silver (both the regular & acoustic)- Btw please check this band out* Any-who this is probably one the cutest love songs ever! There is a line in the song that repeated through the song that goes, “I’ll be the silver lining around your fence you use to protect yourself from all the world, and its sharp teeth because my open hand and heart think you belong with me.” ❤️ Spencer has always been loving person,and ever protective of the ones he loves. I’m sure it can feel overwhelming being Brendon’s position, whether he has an ego or not, being at the top is not easy. You can have everything you want, and still feel cold knowing that you carry the world on your shoulders. When something goes wrong people blame you, because you’re the frontman, and the main face of the band. I see Spencer wrapping Brendon up in his arms and telling him he can do this, reminded him of his talent, and even though it’s hard you his music helps a lot of people each day. I know there are private moments that just the two of them share, they probably talked about fears, and the future. Taylor Swift Begin again- (Regardless if you like her or not… that’s your prerogative, I love the stories she puts together) T says this song is about getting through a breakup, still really being still kind of sad about it, and feeling a little insecure about all the things that relationship made you feel were wrong with yourself. (😓……😷….,.😥 After months, months, ands months you now have the courage to stand backup, and dust yourself off, and go on that first date. *** I have never claimed to know any of these people personally, but see Brendon being very wary and not really being sure of himself professionally and personally. And here is Spencer, this person you’ve know for the longest time, but you’re starting to learn more about in different ways. He decided to stand by him at one the most vulnerable times for both of them, you’re both trying the numb the pain. Spencer has this close family who does this cheesy/cute stuff during the holiday, and they’re so welcoming to Brendon. He feel like he can see himself moving on a bit, and maybe some things can stay in the past.Taylor Swift Wonderland- THIS pinpoints the Vices & Virtues era perfectly to me. Bren and Spence went out on a journey trying to put together this album with ALL of the odds against them. There were flashing lights, they took wrong turns, and fell down a few rabbit holes during the process. But they made it, and created the fun world, and picked up some new friends along the way. But there were still pieces of both that broken, and when think things are good they’re not… “We found wonderland, you and I got lost in it, and we patented it could last forever. (The feelings could have lasted, the connection between this new line up could have lasted..) LIFE WAS NEVER WORSE (Still pain from losing friends post split!, doubt about the music, losing fans,SPENCER’S ADDICTION, Brendon saying he felt like there nothing he could do,having use that tough love, not having your buddy’s hand to hold.) BUT NEVER BETTER (Succeeding, putting out an album you’re both proud of, All the cute interviews,and their cute,happy faces. The shy glances,realizing together you’re so strong together, and the vices squad of B S D I !!!!)Ok sorry I know this was wordy but I wanted to explain why I think these songs fit them!
