Hello my lovely, Since you're after ask drawing challenges. If you could make up your own super hero/heroine/villain. What would they look like and what would be their superpower? Magical ponytail? Mystical mental tarot readings? Flight? Instantly undresses people with a single look? A horde of giant animated cabbages? And.... Go!
I actually have four already! Although due to being Dumb AF I forgot my super heroine despite the fact she’s right there in my icon - her name is Bottlerocket though and her superpowers are flight, invulnerability, strength, and functional alcoholism. Here’s a super quick and messy sketch of my villains...
Nightshade, who can change the molecular structure of the things she touches to poison, Mouse, whose powers make her instantly forgettable, and Doll Face, who doesn’t actually have any super powers but does like scaring people to death with her Boyf so I included her anyway! I love my dweebs 💜

Have you watched Unseen64's video on the cancelled Flash game? There were some interesting ideas that were actually kind of similar to your ideas for a 3D Sonic game, like the Flash having multiple levels of speed.
Kind of, but not really. They describe Flash’s speed as kind of… well, I imagine it like, I dunno, Mario, right.
You hold right, Mario walks for 2-3 seconds, and then the game kicks you up to a run. 2-3 seconds later, you reach the next level of speed, etc. Sort of like shifting gears in a car, but without the periods of acceleration – you just instantly go from 5mph to 25mph, and then instantly from 25mph to 50mph, etc.
What I have in mind is closer to the existing Sonic boost system, just hopefully a little more manageable.
I do like their mention of a trick system, though. I mean, given I use The Flash as an example of a similar character, I guess it’s fitting that there’d be some crossover.
