Isdalen at Svartediket near Bergen by Johan Christian Dahl, 1842.
This Friday I'm going on a school trip to Isdalen, aka the place where Norway's biggest mystery took place and I'm very excited. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isdal_Woman (if anyone wants to read abt it)

A fuckin' hard day's night. Not willing to put words on paper. Let me just dream a little. Right now I'd like to find myself in Bergen. I'd like to open my eyes and see the city through the big window of a cabin. One of hundreds scattered on the slopes of Floyen. I'd make a big cup of strong black tea with sugar and lemon and sit by the window in the dark sipping tea and watching lights moving on the road down there. When my tea is finished I'd put on something suitable for a cold and snowy weather, take my headphones and choose for that amazing night walk something like Astronaut Ape, or Artifact 303, or maybe Travis and Fripp, or Arcturus... I'd lock the door, put my hood on and head towards the Ice Valley...
Rostan “mökkikylä” oli aivan tyhjillään. Kuvanottopaikan kohdilla on pieni alue tunturissa johon tulee puhelinverkko.
Paikka johon haluan palata joskus.
The Isdal Woman
45 years ago, the burned body of a young woman was found in the Isdal valley in Bergen, Norway. She had travelled the world during the year, with nine different identities. Today, we still don't know who she really was, and if she killed herself or not. Was she a spy? She managed to speak at least five different languages fluently. Why isn't there made an action movie about her?
