ALSO i know this is (yet again) an inopportune time to post anything and have people actually see it, BUT 

i’ve seen all y’alls comments on my performance! i’ve read it all! i’ve got that anon message sitting in my inbox!

but see-- i don’t take compliments well. by which i mean when people were complimenting me irl at the actual reading, my smile was almost a grimace??? and eye contact is so hard??? and that one woman who was just being so effusive and i literally said to her “aha thank you so much. ah. thank you. .....i’m just gonna. go crawl in a hole now. and like. absorb that.”

so uh. thank you. replying to ALL of you at once is way easier than individually. but thank you!!! and i’m like really happy you all liked the poems and the performance.

i’ve watched the videos and read the poems aloud to myself and practiced them so much that they’ve completely lost their impact, so it’s like. actually really good to hear that y’all really liked them and were affected by them.

same thing goes for the people who were there (none of whom follow me on here, i’m just throwing it out there lol) and danforth who was moved by it so like. Yes Good. lol

so i’m just. really really thankful??? idk thank y’all i really appreciate it and i’m sorry i’m not like Responding/Replying. i’m literally Just That Awkward.
