Prologue Part 1.
"Maria, could you help me?" A young female voice called her. "I'm coming, Carol." A similarly young voice responded. And a brunette girl with rectangular glasses and brown eyes emerged from the doorway.
"What's happened?" The girl asked with dark-skinned girl.
"The packages arrived and the boss is busy, so could you help? Please?" The girl asked. "Okay, but you shouldn't take orders from clients." The girl said and began to help her friend.
[🕐Half an hour later🕒].
"Aah" Maria sighed with fatigue and sat down on a free chair. "Are you really that tired?" There was a note of weariness in Coral's voice after a long day of work.
"You did a good job, girls." Their Boss was a pumped-up man with mismatched eyes and a hoarse, rough voice, but in Maria's memory he was cool.
"Yes." Maria agreed and Coral simply smiled and shrugged.
"Since it's almost night, I recommend you two of ... ?!" He wasn't allowed to finish. "Yes, go home, we know, we are not children anymore, Boss, we already know." Maria didn't like that she was treated like a child, despite her childish nature.
Their Boss sighed and said the following: "I know, I just want to remind you about disappearances."
"Indeed, ever since this strange circus arrived here, people have been selling it. And does anyone know if this is a coincidence?" Said Coral looking out the window.
"Calm down Carol maybe it's just a coincidence? Although maybe not." The brunette's last words were accompanied by a sly grin for which she received an evil look.
"Okay, jokes aside."Maria said and looked at the Boss. "Even if a Murderer is stalking the city, I can handle him myself." There was determination and something dark in her red-brown eyes.
"Maria, you really need to stop joking like that." Carol said, looking at the brunette with a look. "Say that again and I'll hit you over the head with a frying pan!"
"Okay, okay," said the brunette and looked at the boss again, saying, "So... Can we go home already?"
⏳️A few minutes later⌛️
Maria walked down a dark street, not seeing anyone.
Everyone was either asleep or playing games until 4 a.m.
Finally reaching her house, she takes out the key and turns the keyhole.
Entering the apartment, not forgetting to lock the door again, she takes off her shoes and inhales.
Her appearance changed from that of a seemingly ordinary girl with a playful personality. People would have called her a "monster," and she was.
Her horns, striped black and white, appeared. Her skin turned white as marble. Her sclera turned deep black. Her eyes turned crimson. A tail, striped black and white like horns, appeared, tipped with an arrowhead.
"Whew," she sighed. She looked into the mirror next to the threshold. "Day wasn't easy, was it, Rafina?"
Let me introduce you to a monster girl. She's a papadanka who was reborn in another dimension after being killed by a maniac in a store.
Maria Roudin was not quite her real name, but it was the only name that could suit her.
Maria was her real name, but she changed it and began to use the past as a pseudonym that blends in with people.
Being reborn in the world of the novel was cool, at least as much as it was before.
Not when she realized that she had changed into a Yandere novel about "Circus Cannibals" .
