I think the day Ishar-mla takes over it should look like a whale fall.

Skadi's decayed and almost blooming corpse left tattered on the ground, seaborn flesh emerging and reaching outwards from it, like a grandiose and macabre nest for this new self that has taken up her place in the world.

A God that doesn't want to be, clinging to the memories of another that are still floating in Her mind, knowing they'll inevitably sink into the dark depth never to be seen again, knowing what shreds of personhood She still carries will be torn apart and swallowed into We Many like Skadi was.

Don't ask me to explain my thought process because I can't and it does not make sense but I have kind of been thinking a lot about Kal'tsit/Ishar-mla recently... (especially the concept of just the two of them left, at the end of the world)

(Also someone on lofter posted this artwork and I am thinking about it a lot.)
