For a short explanation of the universe… Robespierre is an alien coming from a planet with organisms dependent on water. He’s a bit like an amphibian and an octopus at the same time. Robespierre crashes down onto Earth and lands in (pre Revolution? Idrk yet) France. Alien society has advanced far more than Earth did at the time, so Maxime had a space ship!

This au is kinda funny because the humans are extremely oblivious to Maxime being an alien 😭 he just acts so odd and off putting and everyone is like “ah this is fine. He must be on the special side”

Also yes it’s a saintspierre universe too! SJ immediately feels a deep connection with Maxime considering how autism has made him feel. He feels out of place and odd, just like Robespierre. They can bond over the fact that they’re equally as weird together, and they both help each other with how they’ll deal with the Revolution and how they wanna better the world with their work.

Also extra fact; on Maxime’s home planet dogs and most other mammals don’t exist… Robespierre immediately becomes a diehard dog lover once he drops to earth. He adopts Brount and cherishes him with his life.. duh!!!!
