sausage-jo pages 16 and 17 + an ishisoy meme i thought i posted but apparently never left my camera roll 😭 chougi is mildly soy sausage coded to me but i still don’t have him..

expanding on this panel—

— soy totally has trust issues of some kind 😭 he loves living on the edge and pissing people the hell off but he’s actually also surprisingly paranoid of people. so he projects this selfish power fantasy onto his honmaru in order to give himself a sense of security . which is how we get problematic saniwa behaviors like him thinking he is the king dictator of all these guys and being a rude arrogant ahh

he ties up ishi as a representation of intimacy. it’s not out of romantic or sexual intimacy, buts it a way of showing he’s willing to actually put in the effort to get closer to ishi/he’s open to change his views on what touken danshi are (they’re mostly just objects to him 💔). bc otherwise, if he doesnt bind ishi, he wouldnt be comfortable forming a personal relationship

(tldr: soy is probably so convinced other people’s hands and feet and limbs only exist to punch him in the face with, that he has trouble being honest/transparent/personal/fr with people that aren’t physically bound🤣)

on a similar note. as unserious and crackheaded my saniwa oc is supposed to be, im writing an angsty ishisoy seppuku fic. he makes like the biggest screw up EVER and the one who has to decapitate him is ishikirimaru. ishikirimaru the sword who has never cut human flesh ever. everything that can go wrong will go wrong and OUUUUHHH i love comedy x angst and also ishisoy so much. idk how to post it other than ao3 but i don have an ao3 acc so we are waiting 🧎

similarly i also have a heterohitokirimaru (my toudan oc) fic in progress. and i haven’t introduced him on tumblr yet, but that means i can organize a neat little introduction master post for him :] similarly i still want to make a sausage-jo master post

they’re relationship is. maybe like a married couple, who are important to each other, but after the honeymoon phase, became like best friends. except ishisoy haven’t known each other as long. they r acting out the domestic life without romance. like family :3
