To be cautious of Islam when almost all terror attacks are committed in its name and the vast majority of Muslims support sharia law isn't "phobic", racist or anything else. It's simple common sense & pattern recognition.
That's not even taking into account Pakistani grooming gangs (a huge problem in my country that can be traced back to the start of Pakistani immigration over here), the huge amount of rapes committed by illegal Muslim migrants, the ongoing systematic genocide against Christians in Nigeria (following a long & lengthy pattern in Africa & the ME)...
They're not, generally speaking, good people and to support them is to go against women's rights, the victims of pedophilia, the LGBT community's right to exists, Christians/ Jews/ Hindus/ Sikhs etc.

It makes me laugh that you talk about Islam as if it were a hegemonic religious force, when historically the political and religious power in the West has always been held by Catholicism, with the greatest acts of repression and massacres carried out and ordered in the name of preserving and expanding Christianity, including mass killings of Muslims and their expulsion from territories conquered by Christians. Not to mention the current sects derived from Christianity that exist around the world today and that completely disregard human rights. I suppose I don’t even need to bring up Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, or the Neocatechumenal Way. Should we include Evangelicals too? Should we talk about the cases of abuse and pedophilia within the Catholic Church in its schools and youth communities?
All Abrahamic religions are misogynistic and homophobic, so I don’t understand why only Islam is singled out when the others are just as harmful and marginalizing. In fact, in my country, whose culture is fundamentally Catholic-Christian, the number of rapes committed by Catholics or Christians is considerably higher than the number of Muslim men, so again I don’t understand your point. Above all, I don’t understand your attempt to instrumentalize a social problem like violence against women for an Islamophobic, classist, and racist discourse, when it has been socially and legally demonstrated that the problem of rape does not lie in religious issues but in male socialization in general. In other words, any man is a potential rapist regardless of his origin or beliefs, because the issue of how he perceives power dynamics in sex does not come from a specific cultural belief but from a patriarchal system that is widespread worldwide. If you want, we can look at rape rates in countries without Abrahamic religions and see how they compare. I can already tell you they range from terrible to absolutely shocking.
Your argument is deeply flawed because it can be applied to any religion. By your logic, associating with Jews, Evangelicals, Catholics, Orthodox Christians, etc., would also be against the rights of women, children, and LGBTQ people. There’s no difference, because in all these belief systems those rights are disregarded, especially in the more fundamentalist communities. I know quite a few Arab and Muslim people and have had good experiences, especially with women, who are the ones I’ve interacted with the most. In Germany I mostly spent time with Turks, and in France I became friends with people from Syria. Maybe the problem is that you need to get out of your racist basement at your mother’s house and start seeing more of the world instead of watching far-right TikTok videos and unhinged Zionists. I suggest that next time you’re going to spout racist nonsense, at least come up with more convincing arguments, because how easy this was has made it boring.
Please do better.
