ISMR Program structure

First Year During the first year of the programme, students are given exposure to their courses directly related to Marketing, HRM, Accounting, Operations, OB and Systems. These courses help the students to appreciate their interdependency of the various functional areas and integrate them while addressing problems in business context.

Summer Project At the end of first year, all students are required to undertake a project assignment in an organization. The project is intended to give the students an opportunity to sharpen their knowledge & skills and develop better appreciation of the practical problems of management.

Second Year During second year, the students take up electives in their respective areas of specialization. All the students are required to undertake a project assignment in an organization in their respective areas of specialization.

Dissertation Towards the end of the final year, students complete a dissertation on a topic of their own choice under the guidance of the director and faculty. The dissertation is intended to help students to sharpen their analytical and conceptual skills and develop methodological rigor in dealing with practical problems.
