"It is sad, actually tragic, as well as infuriating, to think what things might look like today if President Trump’s four-year sabbatical had never happened…"

As we post, there is a 'fragile ceasefire' in place - a fragile ceasefire between a Sovereign Democratic State doing everything humanly possible to protect its people and a bunch of terrorist thugs bent on its destruction. How absurd is that? As always, the IDF has done an incredible job in both protecting the people of Israel and clearing the drek out of Gaza. Thank you IDF - we love you.

Ezer Weizman's Black Spitfire is the oldest and most famous aircraft in the Israeli Air Force. The 'Black Spit' originally became part of the Royal Air Force on May 29th 1945. After the Second World War, it was transferred to the Czech Air Force and subsequently sold to Israel in October 1948, arriving in November of the following year, entering service in the 'First Fighter Squadron' and receiving the number 2057. It was then used as a training aircraft in both the 'Scorpion Squadron' and 'Third Spitfire Squadron' (known today as the 'Knights of the Orange Tail Squadron', who fly F16s) In 1954, when most of Israel's Spitfires were sold to Burma, a few remained in Israel at the request of (then) Major-General Ezer Weizman, commander of the Ramat David Airbase. One of those was 2057 (or 57, as it became known) which subsequently became Weizman's private plane, and was painted black to resemble the aircraft of the British Base Commander under whom Weizman served during WW2. Ezer Weizman Z"L passed away at his home in Caesarea on April 25th, 2005 at the age of 80. As a mark of respect at his funeral, 'Black Spit' flew overhead.

IDF soldier: There's a child behind the gunman, I'm not shooting
The IDF has made public a recording from yesterday morning's anti-terror raid on Shechem (Nablus) in which 9 terrorists were terminated. In the recording, you can clearly hear an IDF soldier stating that he has an armed terrorist targeted, but that he is not going to shoot because the terrorist has a child behind him. Don't expect to see or hear anything about this typical example of the IDF's moral stance on a news channel anywhere near you soon.

No soul is desolate as long as there's a human being for whom it can feel trust and reverence.
.
..what looks like absolute desolation to you could possibly be a moment of happiness for these children living through and enduring unimaginable suffering .
