doing my very best to not look up fanart or fanfics until i finish this darn game
#rambling#the LORE#gah i love when you open random books and it doesnt actually give you anything more in ur quest list but it still gives u details n context#i do kinda wish some of it would add to the journal#like in outerwilds my routine was always 'do the thing‚ die‚ revive‚ check the ship log for summary of findings'#that tl;dr was a lifesaver#but i will do this analog-style and just keep it all in mah Brain™ and try to make sense of it#🫡👍#its killin me with the character backstories tho bc i Need To Know why x is like they are‚ why y is like they are‚ etc#and in a book or a tv show. the way u do that. is to keep reading/watching.#but the way u do that in a video game is you PLAY IT AND ADVANCE THE PLOT AND ACTIVELY INFLUENCE THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT#so who is rly holding me back from learning abt all these characters? THE JERK WHO KEEPS SLOWING US DOWN READING ALL THE LORE BOOKS!!#issa struggle
