#JackedKirby - The Great Gatsby... Kirby Style!!! 💥💥💥 I was reading an old issue of the Jack Kirby Collector (#Issue27 from Feb of 2000) and the issue contained a round table discussion with Lisa Kirby (Jack’s daughter), Mike Thibodeaux, Richard French And Steve Robertson about unrealized Kirby characters that had gone underdeveloped and unreleased but were being perused posthumously... and low and behold Lisa shared this awesome piece of unreleased art!!! 💥💥💥 Apparently Jack created these two images (and possibly more) for a school project Lisa had on The Great Gatsby... wow! It must be nice to be a student with a master artist as a father to help you out with some illustrations to kick that book report up a notch!!!! We get two photos, one at the grave site of James Gatsby and another with some partying 20s style going on... lots of champagne and flapper style clothing out on the dance floor in that one.
