I’ve been struggling to find peace and optimism in the midst of all this turmoil and despair. What have we become as a species? Two days ago, the world watched as the US launched 2 men into space, reminding us of our human potential. Yet, just one week ago today, we all witnessed the senseless killing of GEORGE FLOYD. So... how far have we really come? I never imagined this is where we would be in the year 2020. Now, more than ever, we need to seek compassion over intolerance, wisdom over ignorance and virtue over iniquity. “Never, never be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.” - Martin Luther King Jr. #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd #BlackLivesMatter #Solidarity #IAmAMan #istillhaveadream #endracism 𝐒𝐈𝐗 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐍𝐎𝐍𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝘍𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘋𝘳.
