There is a calm in this library, a calm that is not polluted by the noise of stark silence nor by the kind of lighting that craves attention.
If you want to know how I feel these days: I feel so uneducated. It's been a few weeks since semester started and in normal classes people have so much background knowledge about every subject in my course. I can't even seem to keep up with them through hard work. This system is foriegn to me. I don't know how research is done here in these areas. I guess a part of me knows that it is normal for me to struggle right now and just like last year it's going to take some time getting used to. At least my outside uni arabic classes are going swell (الحمدلله) I also began an Arabic ثلث (thuluth) calligraphy course two weeks ago. Lets see how that is going to go... As of yet I have only managed a clumsy ا and ب.
