i think the source of my craziness is that i have always always always been known for what i produce and what i provide and how helpful i can be to people so everytime i decide hey maybe i should pick up fanfic writing again! suddenly im forcing myself to produce and provide and comparing myself to people who produce and provide better than me and ruin my entire sense of self over what i can do for people. anyway im like super normal

The overarching themes of Dehiscence's playlist is warped audio sounds (synth, harsh noise, static, repetition of lines) in a representation of their blunted senses and shredded sense of self. Moreso than any other character playlist I've made, I've been very selective with the sound of songs (compared to lyrical fit, though I counted this pretty heavily too). Ofc there's still songs in there that are more vibes-based than specific symbolism but you know lol

In my opinion, Dee's playlist works well in order or shuffled bc the music themeing and 'color' is so similar - yes there are jarring jumps but those remain in order or not, because they have been through some very sharp jumps in perception/self! There is also a mix of 'internal' voices (these tend to be songs with more of a balad feel to them, very focused on emotions and melancholy) and external/internal forces (either most jarring or aggressive or the Saddest ones) throughout the playlist - their 'story' is clearer if listened to in order with these, but some seem to proceed the events if their playlist were a strict timeline. Something about circular themes or returning to old ways, hehe

That being said I will go through their playlist in order for talking and!! Try to expand on my own current thoughts as I go... wish me luck
