thinking about how telltale batman’s harvey dent looks exactly like harvey specter. their mannerisms are the same and it kills me so bad. when gabriel/harvey raises his voice in episodes i freak out bc it’s literally harvey dent. and that joker-esque thing GM’s lips have (especially on the left side) make me feral. i need him as harvey dent immediately. suits batman au when.

Okay, imagine this; Suits time loop fic that starts when Mike walks into the prison, then instead finds himself walking into Chilton hotel. Like right before he goes into prison he and Harvey say they’d do it again, but when he has the choice, will he do it again? Will he put everyone through that all over?

And he can’t. He can’t do it. So, he gets arrested for the drug deal, thinks this is it, ruined my life, but spared those I care about. However, once he makes it to prison, there he is again, walking into Chilton hotel.

He get arrested for that drug deal half a dozen times before he tries something new. He makes it into Harvey’s interviews, but manages to stop the suitcase from opening and is the blandest candidate ever, seeing Harvey’s eyes glaze over before he lets him go. Frustrating, but he has managed to fix it, right? Wrong. Gets arrested outside with the briefcase and goes to prison only to walk into the Chilton hotel again.

So, he goes through the motions a few times where he gets his job, then tries to get fired multiple ways, like letting Harvey fire him like he nearly does that first episode, by Louis a few times or straight up going to Jessica and confessing so she throws him out, but every time he ends up in prison and starts right over in the time loop.

The resolution of getting out is doing it all over again, of making right on that agreement, but trusting Harvey’s and his own lawyering this time, because why the hell not? If he goes to prison, he’ll just start over. And then he gets his innocence declares and it’s the next day and he’s free and he gets to enjoy life. He did it all again, no regrets.
