The absolute devastation of Crowley driving slowly--for perhaps the first time ever--away from the bookshop
thinking of how a person who has always gone too fast could still, somehow, always manage to be too late

In love we open wide as a house to a summer afternoon, every shade up and window cranked open and doors flung back to the probing breeze.
- Marge Piercy, excerpt from It breaks
Welp.....
Me, watching CoE, Iantos death: awwe so sad, wow, painful, poignant.
Me, watching Exit Wounds, Tosh and Owen's deaths: *endless screaming, crying, dry-heaving and gagging*
love what we hear of nemik’s manifesto, it’s not putting the hope-line into cassian’s mouth, it’s the recognisable voice of the character we came to know too briefly, it’s so tender, it's hopeful but not naive, this is how nemik understood people to be, and he's right.
It breaks, it leaks
I also really want to give flowers to Alex Lawther for the voiceover work which is devastating and absolutely beautifully done.
Can I just say that in that moment where Obi-Wan is desperately holding the rocks up, trying to keep from being completely crushed: OMG. At first, all he can think of is the past, where he lost Anakin, where everything fell apart. But then the past is then replaced by the present - suddenly he is filled with thoughts and memories of Leia (and Luke). In these moments where death is literally just inches from his nose, all Obi-Wan can think of is these two wonderful children that he loves so very very much and he is not fucking ready to die yet.
Then up he goes to throw a bunch more rocks at Vader so he can see how he likes it damn it.
