Idk how I thought the secret history meets Shakespeare would in any way keep me calm but I'm 100 pages in and slowly losing my mind and here we are
The passion? The wild manic recklessness of it all? The drive and emotion? I dont know how people are not moved by the arts. How they can live without them. How they can exist in cold realms of absolutes and rationality and reason. I am tired of reason. Of logic and rules and the heartlessness of it.
How, /how/, can people exist without the extremes of emotion? The near transcendence of it all?
