Today, Merry and I had an interesting discussion regarding the inhabitants of her dreams -- The youkai -- and the influence they would have if they were in our modern day world and not the world of her dreams.

For example, the youkai in her dreams seem to hold tremendous power. It’s the kind of stuff that you could only imagine being possible.

If, say, a youkai who could manipulate the very concept of time itself were to make its way into our Earth, who knows what havoc it would cause. Very likely, humankind would be wiped out.

But that’s impossible, right? Youkai don’t exist. They’re tales made to explain phenomena that, nowadays, can be explained with science.

Merry tells me that this way of thinking seems to be the very reason these youkai are confined to that world. It’s a world where youkai are allowed to exist. And society has formed around these strange and reality-bending abilities.

Sometimes, at night, I ponder to myself. This world... Surely it must be a world where common sense doesn’t exist. Oh, what I would give to see and explore how such a reality must feel and keep ticking on.

#Time is part of my wheelhouse.#Being able to tell the time through the night sky...#It's really something wonderful isn't it?#Merry has told me that such a being exists in her world.#Although apparently time is such a power that even youkai can't handle.#This being can merely act so quickly that it only seems like time warps around them.#Or at least it's something that Merry has observed. Even so she questions that notion.#It makes me wonder...#If Merry's ability to see boundaries has evolved into being able to cross through them #Could my ability of telling time also evolve into something more?#Ah it's wishful thinking though.#With enough dedication and practice anyone could have eyes like mine.#Incidentally this being that Merry has witnessed is apparently also a human.#Who could've imagined that?

My brain : consider, however, exile :)

Legends Arceus would be the perfect game to play as Tommy in , after all , in what other Pokemon game do you get exiled in, and your only friend comes to spend time with you :)
