Today’s character of the day is: One One from Infinity Train

I love this site.  Almost as much as I love them.

So in Book 1, Tulip, Atticus and One-One started the journey together and stuck together till the end (yeah Atticus turned into a Gohm but he was still close to Tulip after he turned back).

In Book 2, Lake, Jesse and Alan Dracula atarted the journey together and also stuck together till the end (Jesse and Lake were very close so that counts).

In Book 3 however, Grace, Simon, Hazel and Tuba started the journey together but didn't stick together till the end. Tuba died pretty early, Hazel left Grace and Simon, and Simon distanced himself from Grace and tried to kill her, so they were no longer close. Also he died. So only Grace remained at the end of the book.

Nothing too deep, I just feel kinda sad thinking about this and how lonely Grace must have been feeling.

INFINITY TRAIN TRAILER SPOILERS BEWARE

So we’re on the train of thought that Hazel is likely a null and Grace is gonna learn to love and mother her only to become horrified when she realizes the humanity of those she’d been alluded to killing, and will realize with dread that if the awful ball was right about this they might be right about zero being freedom too.....right?

If we’re on the right track with this, then the question is, will Simon also agree to leading the apex more peacefully, and will the true rules of the train need to come from the mouth of Amelia herself for Simon and Grace to listen before One-One underestimates someone and gets hurt again?

Or maybe the apex underestimate them...and find out that One-One purposely hand-made Hazel themselves for the Apex. Not auto-generated by the train for a specific car or person but made Hazel specifically and immensely detailed like with Alan Dracula, to think she’s human and make sure she is found by the Apex leaders themselves.

Because the only way they’ll ever believe One-One were the original and semi-just train conductors or any of their warnings is to have them live it, see it, far way from One-One and any of his train workers they’ve learned to distrust. ...And depending on One-One’s willingness to scare them, go so far as to make them temporarily believe she’s gone and it’s all their fault?

One-One certainly isn’t smart, and believing they do good certainly doesn’t make their behavior good, but I believe they may be very wise...

I don’t really recall much about my dream last night, but I vaguely remember that Tulip, One-One, Atticus, Amelia, and The Cat appearing in it. Turns out Amelia was lying (?) about just being a passenger of the Train and whatever happened to her and was actually part of it, she and The Cat.

Does anyone else think that Glad-One almost sounds like GIR, especially since they're both happy-go-lucky robots?
