i know that it’s because well pennywise shows up to the kids and henry bowers was just one of them but after reading the book and watching the movies i’m like 97% sure henry bowers is schizophrenic he just fits. all the other kids experiences with pennywise were similar to each other but nothing like Henry’s. yes he used him as a vessel to work through and bring more evil and yet that won’t still cut it, i blame butch bowers and the way henry grew up. the long hours of labor under the sun the beatings the constant brainwashing since he was an infant…no matter how strong pennywise is this goes way deeper. and i genuinely feel bad for him. he was a victim of his own environment just like the rest of them. there’s a line in the book where bill says that henry hasn’t grownup a bit when they came and saw him. a boy’s face in a man’s body.
