I was driving back to the house at like 1am last night
feeling sleepy
opens bottle of dr pepper i bought at a gas station out of desperation
completely forgets that earlier i had accidentally shaken the bottle a lot trying to get it out of a bag
dr pepper explodes inside the car
however i am driving 70mph on an interstate
therefore i cannot do anything about this
now my car has dr pepper in it
I knew it had been a while, but that was absolutely crazy
Disconnected so hard while working earlier I started thinking about what hours the red pony opens and closes and how much Henry pays his employees. And also how many employees he has. And then also about the trophies on the shelves behind the bar. Like whose they are and then also the mounted deer head (I know there's at least one) like who hunted it. Was it him? Was it someone else? Obviously it would've been someone he trusted if someone else hunted it or maybe bought it from because of his beef and dislike of Omar (very valid btw). Also how much the bar makes as a whole? He had at least 40k in savings, which to mean is a shit ton of money. But it definitely helps he just lives upstairs above the bar. But also he pays for lilys therapy, which from experience isn't exactly cheap. But also in 20 years is 40k considered like. A lot of money? Idk i grew up poor with bankrupted parents. Also how much does it take to start up a business??? We can estimate he was around thirty when it opened, did he save up for it in his 20s? Did he always want to start a business? In the books he goes to college but doesn't finish his degree (if I remember correctly) also did he always want to sort of leave and live off of the reservation. In the first couple of episodes Mathias mentions Henry living off the reservation, which he very plainly resents him for. And obviously there are a lot of nuances concerning that part that I can't ever fully understand, and I can theorize all I want but I'm not the person to speak about that.
Also Deena just makes me so curious about Henry's past relationships. You get the hint that she comes in and out of his life, and it just makes me wonder the way he views himself, because of how badly she treats him. Was there someone else before Deena? Were there a lot of people? Were there very few? Is that one of the reasons he's never gotten married? I mean I doubt the studio apartment above the bar would help, but still. Was the no marriage and no children a conscious choice or was it just because of how his life went? I kind of get the feeling he wanted kids but maybe never had the opportunity to I guess? Idk.

A long time ago, back at the original restaurant, one of the tomato sauce boxes exploded... And Will was responsible for that, back in the day.
I walked into the kitchen, and found him looking very sheepish, drenched in the stuff 🤭
Apparently, he picked it up, and the bottom fell out of the box.
Never seen him look so humiliated... aside from that one other occasion... But that's another story for another time 🤫

Things I Learned Today That You Should Not Attempt While Sick
- Take your dog for a walk
- Make pasta
- Leave your house without a coat (especially if it's the middle of November)
- Sort the recycling
- Make pasta for a second time
- Homework
- Stay up reading fanfiction
- Seriously don't try to make pasta while you're sick
- Not replace your tissue box when it's empty
- Make pasta seriously don't do it, you'll get cold and go back to bed and the water will go everywhere and then you'll remember and try again and the exACT SAME THING WILL HAPPEN just don't do it okay???
