I do like nicknaming him (as to not somehow appear on tumblr search), “‘Kuya” did have some very understandable language connotations around it I didn’t want; I didn’t completely stop calling him that but I slowed down.

I like “Mister” as I that is generally what I blurt out when referring to him (too nervous to say his name). There’s also backstory significance to that with them.

I’ve heard some of my friends call him “Bya” (pronounced “Bee-ya”; not quite like the first part of the pronunciation of his name) and I think it’s really cute ♥️🌻 not completely suiting for him... and it’ll take time for him to not despise it... but I think it’s soft and sweet <33
