Theory Time, kiddos.

Okay, so in watching Eckva, and going through all the things (you know, the ten posts under the tag) and I have this half baked theory about some stuff. 

Okay, so thinking about Jay’s apartment burning down, at the time, he believed it was totheark, for pretty fair reasons, and said “since their last video, I’ve been staying inside”. But, comparing totheark’s video to Jay’s following video (entry #25) and eckva’s website before it got changed, it might have been something else. 

Starting off, totheark uploaded their video 9 days before entry #25, and while maybe Jay decided to upload the news stuff a few days after it happened, i sort of doubt it. Like, throughout the series we can assume that he uploads the videos the same day that the events happen. Then, you look at the eckva website pictures, and you see the same sort of writing from the totheark video. The top part could be referring to entry #19, uploaded around 5 months earlier. Throughout the entry we see Jay tossing and turning throughout the night, and later pops in masky.

And then you have, what looks like, “ALICE” on the bottom part, which could be referring to anyone in the marble hornets series, but more specifically, either Tim or Jay. Who begin, just doing their thing and then follow the white rabbit (either the operator or even Alex) into the rabbit hole. In the first entry of eckva, we see them say 

which makes me think it’s more about Tim than Jay. Tim also had people scurrying around his house, and we see him constantly having sleeping issues and things being on fire. On top of that, in entry #60.5, on one of the documents, it says that Tim ran away from home when he was young, and that he was afraid of someone in his house and that he was afraid for his life. The answers were changed on the document, but two checks under those sorts of questions are not accidents. Maybe this was a direct message to Tim, possibly warning him about the operator. 

But then you question, when is eckva. With the phrasing, commercial type and quality, it looks like it could be early 90′s, maybe mid. Which really lines up with Tim. 

We can’t see which medical center, but from what we’ve seen, Eckva probably had one, or had relations with medical centers, as in entry #2, they offer health benefits. But, maybe not just any medical center. 

A children’s medical center, or children’s medical connection. And if Tim has been taking the pills, Preaxin, that might explain some issues that we see throughout the marble hornets and totheark videos. In the commercial, it says the side effects may include: abnormal behaviour (including aggression and outgoingness), confusion and hallucinations. 

for more of a stretch, Eckva’s ad shows a bill bottle with a screw top and no label for their “health benefits” segment. Who do we know with a very similar pill bottle collection? That’s right, folks. Tim.

We know from the fourth eckva entry, they are no longer in operation, but we don’t actually know when they started, or when they ended. The narrator leaving “notes” on the eckva videos is also old enough to have applied for a job there, and has taken preaxin. While they may not be sure of it, it’s probably safe to assume. Out of the people in marble hornets who took prescribed pills, we have Tim, Jessica, and Brian. It is confirmed that both Tim and Brian became proxies of the operator, and we haven’t seen Jessica since the footage of her being dragged away by Tim. 

I don’t really have a conclusion to this, but I have a feeling that Eckva is connected with marble hornets. I might make another theory after going through and rewatching clear lakes 44 for more clues, but for now, that’a all I got.
