The Adults!! Mr Moineau (He/Him) - Yep. That's my dad. Ms Obalia Moineau (She/Her) - that's my mum alright! For better or for worse. Zorenn Nevis (She/Her) - Not my step mother, but great nonetheless! Ms and Mr Moineau's kids: Clement (He/Him) - Not my oldest brother or oldest twin. The less attention he gives me, the better. Ange (He/Him) - Probably not the older twin. He's good at talking about himself, and giving gifts - so he should just stick to his strengths. Isabeau - ME! It's easy to forget about me, apparently, but I'm here too!! Carmen (They/Them) - My younger sibling, who's great when they're not drinking. Zorenn and Mr Moineau's kids: Avann (Him/He) - My slightly-younger step-brother who makes both of those facts my problem. Marianne (She/Her) - My little sister. A good kid, even if looking at her makes me feel… anyway, she's a good kid! Twins (They/Them) - Which one's which? Don't know, don't care. Won't matter until they're 6 anyway.

I've never actually written a full chatfic before but that feels like the right medium for this. so! here is me feeling out a few of the characters, including miranda and micah who both showed up in the fic, and angel who was briefly mentioned.

Monday 7:48am [Angel] ok so i’m here doing an update on the computers right [Angel] before opening obviously so the system’s ready for normal hours [Angel] and unless i hallucinated vividly i just heard miranda let somene in [Angel] BEFORE opening hours start [Angel] p sure i heard them (him???) in the back with the dogs too [Miranda] The man was waiting in the parking lot before I even got there. Who knows how early he showed up. [Miranda] What was I supposed to do, leave him sitting in the parking lot looking like he’s contemplating the weight of the entire universe? [Miranda] He looked like he could use some dogs, so I let him in. I told him he could go back as long as he didn’t pet the dogs, and he obeyed. [Micah] omg miranda admitting she has a heart awwwww [Miranda] Aren’t you supposed to be in class, Micah? [Micah] at not even 8am??? eww no thanks i’m a college student not an overachieving highschooler with morning practice [Micah] first class starts at 10 [Micah] and i won’t be late, mooooooom [Miradna] I’d remind you I’m not your mother, but that’s never stopped you before. [Miranda] Anywho if any of you see a giant wall of muscle who looks about sad enough to drown, be nice. He was very polite and well-mannered, unlike the lot of you.
