boy falls in love with another boy from a parallel version of earth after the near-apocalypse causes only the middle east to be inhabitable, and every six months they have a giant shabbat party bc the planet is in tidal lock and each day lasts half a year
microscopic android infestation of earth akin to the yeerks from animorphs where the protagonist of the story is a bisexual jewish trans boy with the power to use the sacred geometry of the kabbalah as portals vis a vis chell from the portal series
steampunk no-holocaust alternate 2005 where jewish magic is abundant and a bunch of young adults is trying to summon the moshiach to get rid of Big Pharma/Big Brother
i could go on and on but like G-D i am so thirsty for these kinds of books, like, i want to see this kind of stuff on lists and so far the only person even coming close is, as i mentioned, shira glassman, and it’s just like. i want stories that are about us and are also super fucking cool dammit the two are not mutually exclusive
