I love writing when the characters are eye-fucking each other and yet remain just out of reach until the yearning reaches a maddening height.

Catra, in front of a warm fire crackling in a fireplace. She sips hot coco and stares into the flames. She says, "Every snowman wearing a scarf is yearning for death."
Adora slowly turns her head to Catra. Her mouth slightly agape. "Yeah. Why the fuck else would a snowman want to be warm?"
Catra takes a sip of her coco
Adora does the same.
something that gives me a little hope is the fact that it isn't Richie pushing for Carmy to go back to C**re. All this song and dance the Fak's are doing gives me unserious vibes.
Infinity Train is overflowing with characters who operate as parallels, and learn from each other by empathizing with similarities or comparing their circumstances. But all of those "when I look at you, I see me" moments only happen when characters are open to them and willing to change.
Tulip sees herself in Amelia's tape, and it inspires her in multiple positive ways - she understand her own feelings better, realizes she can also hack the train, and is moved to speak to Amelia kindly after their fight and give her a push in the right direction.
But Amelia also could have seen those similarities. It's implied she watched Tulip's tape, so she knew for months that the kid carrying One towards the engine was someone very much like herself. And she either didn't notice or ignored it, or she only tried to use that information against Tulip, like her last-minute gambit to offer Tulip a car of her old life.
Grace is touched by Hazel's sweet, sincere desire to meet other kids and find where she belongs. It's very much like how young Grace felt. But is Hazel really the first Apex kid to feel that way? It seems unlikely to me that in a group of two or three dozen kids, between the ages of about 6 and 14, there was no one else who could have struck that chord with Grace. But I'll bet that until Hazel, Grace was never in a position where one of the kids was being completely no-fronting emotionally open, and Grace was genuinely listening to them.
Simon says that Tuba is to Hazel as the cat was to Simon. But he expects Hazel to simply forget about Tuba as soon as she's dead and out of the way, even though he clearly has complicated, ambiguous feelings about the cat that he's still figuring out. Simon explicitly compared himself to Hazel, but making that comparison didn't help him understand her feelings or move him to care about her.
Throughout the show, we see characters learning from their empathy with and understanding of each other. But it's not because they just happened to meet someone who is so uniquely similar to them that it made them empathize. I think for any one person, there's lots of different kinds of people they could connect with in this way. It's a matter of where they're both at emotionally and how open they are to seeing it.
Have you tried to draw your gemsonas in SU style?
Tbh I can't draw in su style normally, it's kinda like this
But why tho if I have my own detailed, anatomically correct, logical style which I like and satisfied with it
Btw, I'm not into su again or something, I'm not in the fandoms in general, I'm just drawing without "making fandom content for popularity and followers". I'm drawing what I want and when I feel like it or when i want to feel nostalgia for certain things.
KH Crack Au:
Once I had this idea that Ventus and Vanitas were running around in Sora’s head, but they were acting like they were running this tv show.
Ventus: Welcome everyone, to the Ventus and *gestures at Vanitas*
Vanitas: This is stupid.
Ventus: Listen, I’m bored, can’t we do this?
Vanitas: Ugh, fine.
Ventus: Right, take two. Welcome, everyone, to the Ventus and *gestures at Vanitas with a pointed look*
Vanitas: Vanitas
Ventus: Show! We’re your hosts, Ventus and Vanitas, ready to narrate on Sora’s life.
Vanitas: Oh look, another day on the beach, who could’ve ever guessed?
And then during the events of the games, the show just gets a whole ton more interesting.
Vanitas: Riku, in a move of pure genius, seems to have caused a flood of darkness into this pathetic world. I honestly didn’t think he had it in him.
Ventus *getting increasingly distressed*: We have no idea what happened to Kairi, folks, but I’m sure all will be revealed in time.
And when Roxas and XIon come along.
Ventus: After many long years, we finally have some guests! Can you tell us your name?
Xion: Xion
Vanitas: Who are you again?
Xion: I knew this was going to be a bad idea
Ventus: How do you feel now that you have rejoined with Sora?
Roxas: I hate this. Why am I here? Why do you look like me? I want to kill the organization.
Vanitas: I like this guy
When Rocky said "You know how I'm the brain of the group"
