I like this detail that he thought of Anya instead of operation Strix
Omg yes I’m so glad someone else pointed it out. I don’t know how the translation affected this but phrasing too just is awesome to me because “what would become of Anya” not only puts emphasis on Anya as a person instead of an asset but in my opinion is a really great way of showing how subconsciously Twilight has grown to really care about her. With the exception of getting himself out, his First thought is about what might happen to Anya if everything blows up, which I think does represent a shift in Twilight where he’s starting to prioritize his role as Anya’s father over his role as a spy. And the promise of that arc is what hooked me on this series in the first place so I am living for it.
