Vee fell in love when he didn't want to but can't stop himself and Mark is trying so, so hard not to fall in love again because he knows it's doomed.

But they're both doomed to this and there's no escape from the feelings they've awakened and there's nothing left but to fall and to spiral together and maybe find that love can grow wings... or maybe not, too.

I love that Nuea is just as posessive and obsessive over Toh as Toh is over him. He clings to him, he pouts, he begs him to stay, he kisses his hand, he kisses him in the selfie... their love is equally enthusiastic and equally needy.

Featuring: in the forefront, a gluten-free version of @thebibliosphere 's Communist Peasant Bread. I substituted the wheat flour with a gluten-free all-purpose flour from bulk barn, and added about 3 teaspoons of xanthan gum. It doesn't really rise and it doesn't need to be worked at all, so it's pretty dense. But it tastes alright. I'll probably make the dough a bit wetter next time, and have a bit more salt. I'm not sure if the rising problem can be solved with this recipe or not, but I'll have plenty of opportunities to keep trying.

In the background: the regular version, for myself (my roommate is celiac, but it's not serious enough that I can't have wheat products in the kitchen. Just have to be careful). Also, the pot containing our supper, the mess of the baking and the supper-making, and a lot of Magic the Gathering cards.
