I had an informatics test that required us to use a calculator, but last moment the rumor came out that the teacher wouldn’t accept any calculator with too many functions on it. Mine was pretty big since I took it for my statistics exam so, in panic, I ran to a store and bough a cheap plain calculator and the following day I showed up to my test with not one but both, just to be safe.
Turns out the teacher wouldn’t even check on the things, so I was pretty annoyed and glaring at my bag when I noticed the girl sitting beside me only had a pen and her ID card. I asked her why she didn’t have the calculator and turns out hers broke while she was coming to class that morning and she was kinda hoping to pass the exam with the theory questions alone.
Obviously I offered her my spare one, I just, don’t know, I think it was so weird that I had two calculators coincidentally on the same day hers broke! I’m glad.
