So fall took his job serious this year... I didn’t need a 15 degree drop in two days while paying outrageous gas prices to keep my naked cat alive.

What is it about soft, somber silence that causes my stomach to drop, my toes to curl, and my heart to darken? It’s sobering to not hear the padding of your bare feet on the hardwood floors of my apartment, to not hear the humming of the song you created in the short five-minute shower, to not feel the whisper of your lips on my bare shoulders as I make us breakfast. I’ve never felt emptier than this apartment is without you. It’s cold. I’m cold. Please, come back.
sober sunday // c.r.
Day 2: Going to see friends! It’s raining! The next item in my closet was my red Hawthorne Heights t-shirt. Yes, Hawthorne Heights. Like, “Niki Fm” and “Ohio is for Lovers.” That Hawthorne Heights. The teenage angst runs deep with this one… because my heart is in Ohio. I’ve never been to Ohio…
Anyways, this shirt is a bit short, and it’s cold outside, so I am wearing a burgundy tank with a lace bottom underneath of it. Just to spruce it up a bit, I wore my red blazer over it. Trying to look adult, but still express my adolescent tastes in music. And since I can’t do a thing with my hair in the rain, I pulled half of it back with that ever-faithful black flower clip. All with a pair of Massimo jeans and my super worn out grey converse.
I don’t know where I got any of these things (aside from the shirt and shoes). The blazer and the tank top I have had since middle school (for perspective, I am 24 years old). I don’t know how I manage to not ruin clothes for so long, but I count it as a blessing. The jeans, I don’t even think were mine, but they came to me in a pile of clean clothes after using a shared family dryer, so they are mine now. The converse shoes are from Ross, so they were reasonably priced and have lasted for a good amount of time (4 years and counting). Lastly, the shirt I got at a Hawthorne Heights concert. *Sigh* Those were the days.
My makeup is mostly the same as the day before. Minimal eyeliner, some Great Lash mascara by Maybelline, and my trusty $1 lipstick.
Ruling: I'm keeping this. And I will be finding my old video IPod to listen to some Hawthorne Heights.
Stay tuned for more fashion and nostalgia.
The kind of mood to sit outside and smoke a pack of cigarettes with a good companion
Work made on this winter. It's a calm/downtempo beats. Sorry for this long time with no new beats ! A new EP is coming. ;) Don't upload yet on my bandcamp on "Basket Sound" but soon for sure ! Like allways, on free DL.. So feel free to share !
*shivers*
I don't want a relationship. I just want someone to cuddle and kiss me.
Home (almost) alone, so I made super healthy action packed summer rolls with salmon and tuna and a bunch of veg for dinner. Accompanied it with chilli and lime dipping sauce, and some honeydew and rockmelon on the side. Now, what's for dessert?
