Back to Old-Fashion-Dating
After what felt like ages of online-dating-abstinence (it might have been only...two weeks?!), I had a date again. With a guy, who I thought might become my new lover, just that that didn't happen..
I still got nicely drunk and so made my way to meet friends and party hard:
I met the IT-Guy when I opened a toilet door assuming it was empty (this is not super weird as most toilets in the clubs here are generally unisex), but, of course, it wasn't. So when the guy came out, we smiled at each other, and he actually waited for me to come out again. We planned to go dancing, only to lose each other already on the way because I might have gotten super excited to see my friends again...
But we met again shortly before I was ready to leave and we kissed and I asked him if we shouldn't just go to his place. He thought that was a splendid idea, surprisingly.
I always come up with great ideas.
And we did go to his place. And we had an excellent morning, noon and afternoon until I decided to leave just to get home and wonder why I left in the first place.
If this isn't romantic, I don't know what is!
I thought he could become my new lover, but the next time we met, we only.... cuddled.

We will meet again eventually, but I have this feeling I can't call the IT-Guy my new lover just yet. Sigh.
Whose your TV-show wife/husband?
Last night C and I were talking, and somehow we came to realize that Eliza Coupe from "Happy Endings" is C's new "it-girl". She's smart and funny and totally hot. Enough said.
As we started listing each others' past IT girls and guys (C went waaaaaaay back and brought up Keanu Reeves) it turns out that C parses out the differences between "IT" status and just plain "attractive". I'm rather perplexed by this, but was too sleepy to try and understand but awake enough to defend myself and say that I have more it-guys on my list because I only have one big IT category.
Anyway, it got us thinking, instead of a Work-Wife or Work-Husband, who is your TV-show wife/husband?
