Career Exploration 8/3

my top three career interest are:

1.artist

2.social

3.investigative

I was surprised about social because usually i hate speaking to people, but i feel like i would enjoy it a bit. I scored low on all enjoy ones and high on confidence in that area.

some occupations that best matched my interests are: teaching, counseling, and park ranger...I’m not so sure about this because i never really thought about helping people.I always thought i’d be in research or construction or even waiting.

I do agree with the artistic because I would like to be an animator. I was surprised to see conventional because I am not good with details. And with social, I stutter a lot so I can’t give a long speech.

I haven’t thought about animators and I think it maybe a fun job.

first day of ITA

i kind of need to work on every thing. To do this i need to increase my motivation, i dont know how to do that but maybe I should try to make the subjects more fun... some how... I really need to up my concentration but i usually dont  because the subjects im study is rrreeeeeeeeaaaaaalllllyyy boreinggg!!! so if i can get motivated or interested in the subject that would fix that. my study aid is actually really good regardless what the test says, this is because i go to my parents for help on my homework and they do a good job. my advice is to get motivation to do your work.

ITA 8/3 summer camp

According to the LASSI-HS, I seem to be proficient in school-related anxiety (or the lack of it), information processing, motivation, and test strategies. I don’t have much advice other than if you do your homework and get your grades up early, bad test scores won’t have as much of an impact so test stress will be lessened. Also, if you don’t understand the material, you can’t apply it to different situations and questions. I seem to be struggling in: attitude, time management, self-testing, selecting main ideas, and concentration. I think a bad attitude affects many things. I can try to convince myself that what I’m doing is helpful in the long run. I can also try to get rid of distractions which will help with concentration and time management. Overall I’m surprised my scores were relatively high.
