We experience what we call iterational plurality, as well as we are soulbond primarily w/ disorderedness making things difficult. We have been plural our entire life and have gone through now 7 iterations of our plurality. Each time, we lose people, or gain people, or both, and something fundamental about us changes or evolves. This last iteration, a subcollective of ours became a permanent fixture after several years of being here through multiple iterations. Before, the way we fronted changed entirely (it became more possessive) and we became more individualized. We havent met anyone who goes through these frequent total resets like we do, especially with how quickly we can build back up in numbers. It also feels like our brain and soul is trying to "get it right" but it cant due to external and internal factors. In typical total collapses, we meet a quota over time that tips over when the collapse happens. Other times, partial and sometimes total collapses happen due to external factors. Its a balancing act for sure.
Your experience may have made me/us realize that we might've had iterations of our own plurality in the past.
Something about describing it as "iterations" clicks with us. The multifictives, personatives and OCtives stayed through a few iterations.
If you got no other plural connecting with your experience, you at least have one plural here who does.
