I thank God for my best friend.

It's not everyday you meet the other half of your soul inside a room of a big university in a big city. A meeting like this is so perfect that it has to be orchestrated by the Master Craftsman, the Author and Maker of Love, Beauty and Goodness.

Love doesn't just pertain to nor is limited to boyfriend-girlfriend or husband-wife relationships. While other girls are bragging about their boyfriends, let me brag about my best friend, Golda.

Golda is one of the godliest, sweetest, most beautiful, most humble, most inspiring and most real women I know. Other than me, she is the only other person who drinks Jungle Juice while watching a movie. I've made her apartment, my apartment; her house, my house; her friends, my friends; her family, my family. I've cried my eyes out in front of her. I've laughed with her until our stomachs (literally) ached. When everybody else has stabbed me in the back, she stabbed me in the front, waking me up from the nightmare I was living in. I have had most of my best emotional breakthroughs with and because of her. She’s seen me at my most evil, most stubborn and ugliest state, yet still put up with the worst of me. She loves me because of me, and loves me even more for who I am not.

Whoever coined the term "best friends forever" was probably thinking of me and Golda. Because our love is a once in a lifetime love, I'd always be grateful for her. She is a living proof of how gracious and immeasurably loving God is.

I love you Golda, and one day, yes, we'll go backpacking across Europe, fall in love with our Prince Charmings, grow old to be groovy grammys, and spend eternity with our King in our palace in heaven. Until then, let's save the world.

I thank God for everything I had, have, and will have.

As a human being, I think we're hardwired to always want more. In result, we forget to appreciate what we already have. We take things for granted. Even worse, we take the people in our lives for granted. We complain of not having what we want, but we never thank Him for having what we need.

I have always been appreciative of even the small things in my life, for I believe that everything I have is a blessing from Him and a sign that He never ever forgets me.

Father knows best. His will is good, pleasing and perfect. And whatever the circumstances, I believe that He would always provide.

We have all been wronged before. Be it being lied to, or cheated, or stolen from. We all know how hard it is to forgive, especially when the one who wronged us is someone we love deeply.

I THANK GOD THAT I'M FORGIVEN.

Despite everything I've done, he has whole-heartedly accepted me and made me clean the moment Jesus was nailed on the cross. "Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. Yes, my dear brothers and sisters. We are free from accusation. "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death." - Romans 8:1-2

You may say, "But I did such a horrible thing!" Well, let me tell you what, it doesn't matter anymore. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool." - Isaiah 1:8

"The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him;" - Daniel 9:9

We have a new life in Christ. Our past is forgotten; we are free to live for Him and bring glory to His holy name. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" - 2 Corinthians 5:17

We are FORGIVEN.

That's a lot to thank God for.
